    Account linked broken for EIGHTH TIME

    Seriously... again ?

    This isn't the first time,... or the second,... nor the third....

    THIS IS THE EIGHTH TIME (yes, as in "8") YOUR APP. HAS BROKEN THE LINK TO MY GOOGLE PLAY ACCOUNTS.

    Just go back and look thru the threads in this forum alone. This problem isn't new, it's not happening to just a few people, and its usually tied to game updates. This has been an ongoing issue since *before* I started here in February.

    It is simply unbelievable that this continues to happen. And the problem could be completely eliminated with one simple change...

    ADD A LOGIN PAGE. Once *your* app. breaks the account link, there is no way to reestablish that game link.

    I've spent over six hours today, trying to get back into the game. More than two hours in chat with the Google Play Store to eliminate all other possibilities. Every other Google function and every other game on my phone works fine.

    This time it's a result of switching to a new phone - also not a new cause for this problem. And despite trying every possible combination of clearing caches, uninstalling and reinstalling today, your app. still will not relink to my existing Google Play account.

    In four prior instances my troops were wiped/zeroed and despite promises, nothing was ever returned to even replace the gem, the resources and the speedups I used building those troops.

    And by the time Evony even gets around to sending the canned reply, it will likely be the FIFTH TIME.

    You want to know why every one of your servers starts dying-off after 2-3 months ? It's because these same problems persist, update after update. Because there is very little in the way of tech support. Because there is nothing done to compensate players for their losses due to the numerous and repeated problems with this game. Because when failed game updates and server crashes deleted items from their inventory, Evony refuses to replace game items we've paid for and earned thru months of game-play. Items that simply disappeared from their accounts. Because Evony can spends millions of dollars on television advertising, yet nothing to resolve server crashes and game lag that occurs EVERY SvS.

    I have TWO active accounts. The first REACHED VIP16 FIVE MONTHS AGO. I have nearly 3 MILLION VIP points. The second account is VIP14 that I reached in July with nearly 1MILLION VIP points. At $400 of in-app. purchases per 100,000 VIP points, do the math on how much those points represent.

    And what happened to submitting screen-shots for proof ???

    That's simply amazing.

    I am receiving SMS push-messages from Evony for the free Stamina that just became available in the Tavern,...

    ... for the same account that it will not allow me to log into, on this same phone.

    Did you get any error message please? We can see that both accounts have linked both Google and Amazon. Did you try login your accounts with Amazon account please? Thanks.

    I did not received an error message. I reopened the app. midday on Oct 27th and after the progress bar displayed " < Checking for updates > ", the next page that loaded showed an image of General George Washington, asking me to "Select Culture".

    I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the Google Play and Amazon Appstore versions THREE DAYS AGO. And I've check every day for the last three days while waiting for a response. And every day your app. failed to re-link to my account.

    Oh, and I tried both versions again earlier today - same result - FAIL.

    And I tried both uninstalling and reinstalling both versions THE LAST FIVE TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED. Same outcome - it didn't work - it doesn't work. I've even gone so far as to independently load and login to each of my Google Play accounts, which also did not correct your apps. failure to link to my Google Play or Amazon Appstore account.

    THIS IS A REOCCURRING PROBLEM THAT HAS OCCURRED SEVEN TIMES NOW AFTER A GAME UPDATE.

    THE APPS. AUTO-LOGTh ROUTINE IS THE PROBLEM. IF IT FAILS TO LINK to the Google Play or Amazon Appstore account, the player has no means of getting back into their account. Your app. automatically defaults to starting a new game account, versus loading a page with the option to manually login or start a new game.

    I suggested this over 6 MONTHS AGO, as other players have as well. Evony's solution ? The in-app. support "people" deleted the entire thread.

    Please give us the new user id you have on your device now so that we could temporarily re-link the account for you. We found a potential bug and we will try to locate the problem and fix it. Thanks.

    When you login the game. It will be either your account or a new generated account. So there must be one on your device. Link that new account with your google play and then give us the new user id and the one you would like to retrieve. And then we could retrieve the account for you. Thanks.

    There was *no* active account, the game kept going to the "Select Culture" starting page despite Google Play showing me logged in.

    Since there was no linked account, I started a new one late yesterday evening on Server 61 (S61) and linked it to my Google Play account.

    New ID: 17245882

    I tried to link my account and it linked my old account that it told me it was going to delete I need this fixed my account I tried to link was my fertileotter on server 95 and VIP level 7 its wasting my VIP time and the money i spent and I sent a message to customer service and nothing got done it's been 3 days and the only reply I got was thanks for your feedback I hope you enjoy playing our game and have a good day which upset me because I waited two days for that I either want a refund or I want my account back today this is really shitty customer service
