Upgrade Clock still counting down after upgrade

Hello,
I have made an upgrade to my Academy and it took my gems then said “upgrade successful” and took away the clock, even gave me the event prize for the successful upgrade. But then moments later, the upgrade clock started counting down again!
I have tried to send tickets and emails, but no one is getting back to me. Please help! I made my upgrade on October 19th and this is way too long to wait for a response and for help.
This is the 3rd this this has happened to my upgrades now. Please fix the bug! And remove my countdown clock so that I can get back to my research. I am not going to spend more gems or speed ups to try to upgrade something I already did.
I’ve done so two other times because no one was helping me. But this is ridiculous at this point!
