Random teleporting

I run The app on iOS and recently updated it to version 3.84.2. Soon after I received a notification in the app welcoming me to the game along with a growth package. After logging out and back in several hours later my city randomly teleports and I’ve noticed my city appears as a level 1 on the map; all other accumulated advances seem unchanged though ie trained troops, monarch level, building and researches etc.
I have uninstalled the app and in again but no changes.
